This approach to holistic health and healing focuses on your own proactive behavioural transformation to support your health, nutritional guidance, a positive mindset and lifestyle plans to help you manage the chronic conditions illnesses, illnesses and concerns you have that are affecting you. During our work together, we’ll look at all areas of your life and pinpoint where the work needs to be done. Where conventional treatment looks at symptoms, the holistic approach looks at the underlying causes. From our lifestyle, sleep patterns and work-life balance to our emotional wellness, Biofield health and the foods and chemicals we consume. Holistic health includes working with all aspects of your health and making suggestions on any environmental factors that may be affecting your health and your daily routines.

What is a long-term illness and how do they affect individuals?

Long-term health conditions, also known as chronic illness or chronic diseases are conditions that usually cannot be cured but can be controlled and managed.

Examples of these conditions include but aren’t limited to, arthritis, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy, hypertension, chronic pain, cancer and chronic respiratory diseases.

The effects and symptoms of long-term medical conditions can touch all areas of our lives, from our relationships with others, our social lives, our emotional well-being, our finances and of course, our physical health. These results of chronic illnesses can leave us feeling restricted in what we can do and often hopeless in our advances to take back control of our well-being. Taking back control of our health can help steer how our condition develops as well as prevent the onset of other illnesses.
